To a Friend...

Oh my dear friend,
I write this poem as a note
to justify my behaviour
and may I quote:
"Errar humanum est"
Because no one is perfect,
and I'm not the best.
I here say this to you,
because I think you would tell me too,
If I'm wrong then warn me up,
If I'm right support me then,
And if I fail,
please forgive me
Because that's just who I am.
