Re-Think

Can't we see our own decline?
Society is so damn complicated
So, it's really hard to even define
What's wrong and what is wright.
We live in the shadows
but I hope, someday, we'll see the light
and then understand the mistakes we made:
Selfish men who will never fade
Lies and games we always played.
Why can't we simply face
that someday the fate
we'll be the extinction of our own race.
We kill, we torture,
destroy and ruin,
Where is friendship?
Where is peace?
They're gone forever
And will never comeback.
The entire world is being covered up
By a huge shade of black,
Society isn't going anywhere.
So, my friends,
Now I ask:
Are we really God's image on Earth?
